Practical and Conceptual Learning in the Age of GenAI

This chat (with ChatGPT) was about understanding the difference between practical and conceptual learners and how these differences play out in the age of GenAI. I had this chat summarised in an essay. I gave ChatGPT some light instructions on how to organise the essay, in order to maintain some control over the process.

As the owner of the chat, I am quite happy with the summary. I think it will be very useful to be able to come back to this essay at times when the subject is on my mind. However, the essay has a very distinct GenAI smell to it, which makes it much less suitable for sharing, let alone publishing. Very valuable to me, as I was the originator of the chat behind the essay, but for those not involved in the chat, the essay probably reads like a McDonald's hamburger tastes: too generic and without character.
