This category of GenAI use cases is about expanding or deepening your knowledge about a topic that interests you. Expanding your knowledge with GenAI is like having a partner at your side who is well read and always ready to discuss any topic you want. What's more, this partner will graciously allow you to pursue your personal (learning) goals in the discussion. Where can you find such a partner? But remember, however well read this partner may be, and however well versed in the subject this partner may appear to be, it is not a scholar specialising in the topic you are discussing with them. At best, it's a very well-read discussion partner, and the more material that's publicly available on the topic of discussion, the more it's likely to know about it, but that doesn't mean it'll be telling you the truth and objective facts. You can and should ask it, but it will not do so of its own accord. In the end, it is just best guessing every single word in its answer.

These are long examples, and I'm sure you have better things to do than read them. That's not why I included them. Look at the initial prompt and the subsequent prompts that follow up on the generated content. Following up on content, either because you're not satisfied with an answer, out of curiosity, but always from a critical stance, is what makes GenAI really useful to me.
